Thank you for using LookUp (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled in the App.
The developer of the App, NR ("we" or "us"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
To improve the quality of the App, we use Firebase Analytics to collect the following anonymized usage data:
Firebase assigns an anonymous app instance identifier to your device. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity.
This data is processed statistically and does not identify individual users.
To improve app stability, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect the following information:
We use RevenueCat for in-app purchase management. Purchase transactions are processed through the Apple App Store, and we do not directly collect payment information such as credit card numbers. RevenueCat maintains anonymous purchase records and entitlement data on their servers to manage subscription status. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat.
The App uses your device's accelerometer to determine posture (device tilt angle). Raw sensor data is processed in real-time and is never transmitted outside the device or stored. Aggregated session-level results (such as time spent at each posture level) are stored only on your device (see Section 1.5).

Note: The first launch date and purchase history flag are stored in the iOS Keychain and may persist on the device after the App is uninstalled.
The App integrates with Apple HealthKit to enable background posture monitoring.
Important information about HealthKit data:
The App obtains user consent through iOS system dialogs before accessing HealthKit data and notification permissions. Access to paid features is not dependent on granting these permissions.

The App does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The App does not currently display advertisements. In the future, advertisements may be displayed to users on the Free plan. In that case, minimal data necessary for ad delivery (such as the device's advertising identifier) may be shared with advertising partners. HealthKit data and health-related data will never be used for advertising purposes under any circumstances. When advertising is introduced, this Policy will be updated to include details about the advertising services used.
The App is not intended for persons under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under this age.
The third-party services used by the App (Firebase, RevenueCat) may process data on servers located outside of Japan (e.g., the United States). These international data transfers are conducted based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards adopted by each service provider.
